Hi! My sister and I would be going to Palawan next month and we will also be staying at Aniceto Pension. Question, how much did you have to pay for the trike ride from the airport to the pension house? Also, I saw in some of your other posts that you were able to get a map of puerto princesa. You still remember where you get it?
Thanks!

Dear, the map posted here was taken from Aniceto which was posted on their wall.
I don’t have a copy of it but you can print the one I posted on one of my blogs and use it in your travel if you want to. http://justapieceofme.wordpress.com/page/4/
P7/head for the trike in going to Aniceto. Please read my blog because most of the trike drivers don’t know where is Aniceto unless you tell them the name of the street. http://justapieceofme.wordpress.com/2010/11/26/aniceto-pension-house-in-puerto-princesa/

It’s no difference from our trike here in Manila… I think she won’t be having any difficulty in riding a trike because going to Hunda bay will take 30-45 minutes only. Good luck!

hello!
I’m really impressed at how you manage to have a tour in Palawan at such small cost! I’m dreaming of going alone by February next year, for my birthday. Do you think a single girl can manage a DIY tour alone? Is it safe there?
will be waiting for your reply.
thanks, thanks!

Hi Gem! Of course, you can manage to have the tour alone. For me, PP is safe place. No snatchers, no holdappers… though prostitution is quite obvious if you’re kinda observant.
Just make sure that the trike driver that you would hire is trustworthy. Follow your instincts.
But taking the Hunda Bay tour alone would cost you a lot even the Underground River tour. I suggest you join a group tour which can be arranged by your hostel or pension house.Have a wonderful trip!
