Laiya, Batangas: Lucky 7 Beach Resort

Going to Laiya, Batangas instead of Lemery was actually my younger sister’s idea. Since our parents celebrated last year their 32 years of being happily married, we decided to have a post celebration of their wedding anniversary. Little did we know that it would be our last outing with our dad….๐Ÿ˜ฅ

Lucky 7 Beach Resort, Laiya, Batangas

It was a sister of a friend, who personally knew the owner of the resort, who made an arrangement and reservation for us. She was able to get us a discount of P1500. Yey!๐Ÿ˜‰ None of us had gone to Laiya that’s why everyone was so excited to go there. The small nipa hut that costs P3500 (inclusive of the discount) has an airconditioned room with queen sized bed and extra mattress,ย  toilet, mini refrigerator, and a gas stove. Great deal huh! Since we were a big group (7 kids + 10 adults), we even occupied the balcony for sleeping… Lol!

Most of the resorts in Laiya, Batangas are expensive. It ranges from P5000 and up. Splurging a bit won’t make you feel bad at all because the place is clean, nice and safe. In fact, the barangay tanods do their rounds at night to make sure that everyone is safe.๐Ÿ˜€

After we unpacked our things and had lunch, the kids went to the beach and started to swim without paying any attention to Mr. Sun’s hotness!๐Ÿ˜‰ Of course, the adults didn’t like to have any sunburn that’s why instead of dipping into the water, we decided to tour around the place and had some photo shoot. Our dear parents were left as well as my other sibling for they look after the kids.๐Ÿ˜‰

Laiya Coco Grove Resort has an off-beach swimming area where the water is shallow. During low tide, the swimmers and snorkelers can walk up to 100 meters on clear sand beach very close to a coral reef. FYI, this resort has security guards armed with guns. But guess what, we were able to sneak in the resort and enjoyed the pool! hehehehe…. We tried to act as guests so that the guard wouldn’t notice that we were trespassers.๐Ÿ˜€ But before the guard discovered our agenda, we left the resort after 30 minutes of having fun in the pool then went back to our resort.

The next day we woke up early to catch the sunrise. And we took the opportunity to walk around the western side of Laiya to see some of the resorts located in the area. As soon as we got back at our resort, we hit the beach and had fun swimming until 11:00am.

May bayad po ang cottage pero that time po kasi, hindi kami kumuha ng cottage since yung room namin was just a few meters away from the beach.

Walang entrance sa Lucky 7 as far as I can remember. Basta magre-rent kayo ng cottages or room.๐Ÿ˜€ Usually ang room rates sa Laiya ranges from P5000 up. Yung cottages naman, I think around P1500 and up. Hope this helps.
