Sidetrip in KL: Sungei Wang Plaza

[downloaded]

Sungei Wang Plaza is one of the malls that can be found along Bukit Bintang and connected to Bukit Bintang MRT Station. If you are into shopping, then this is the best place for you to find great buys. Fine dining restaurants can also be found here as well as shops like Vincci. If you were out of ringgit, you can find money changers at the ground level that buy peso.  Aside from that, this mall has a supermarket where you can buy items cheaper than other stores.

the foodcourt where we had lunch for RM5/pax

Smoking is allowed in this foodcourt for this area is not airconditioned. Aside from that, tables are being cleaned as soon as the customer leaves his table. Cleanliness is observe here at all times. Foods are affordable. We enjoyed our sweet and sour chicken…. incomparable with Chowking’s version.😉

we bought ringgit and sgd here

After checking the rates of other money changers at the ground level, we decided to buy ringgit at Best Rate Sdn. Bhd for the rates are quite better than the others. We sold our P7500 for ringgit. Since they are not buying peso in exchange for singapore dollar, we used ringgit for buying sgd.

How to get there: Take the Jalan Sultan Ismail’s LG mall entrance then turn right.

Since we were leaving for Malaysia in the evening, we bought water and some pasalubong here. It is better to buy water. Why? 1.5L of water at Giant Supermarket would only cost you RM1.20 (the price of 500ml water outside Giant) while 1.5L of softdrinks can be bought for RM2.50 (the price of softdrinks in can outside Giant)! If you would be staying for a few days in KL, this is the place where you can buy things at an affordable price!😉 From food to pasalubong, you’ll find it here!

hubby’s choice: mirinda strawberry😉

giant coffee; tastes better than our 3 in 1 coffee

Ooops, Cadburry chocolates are cheaper here compared to other stores in KL. Grab as many as you can without burning holes in your pocket!😉
